From 3 to 6 December 2011 Dimitri Solovjev, Director of FINSAD Group, Roman Maksimov, Commercial Director of Finmairs and Igor Neuvonen, Head of Export and Import Department of FINSAD Group visited India with the purpose of getting acquainted with casting production of wear parts for crushing equipment. Within the framework of the visit representatives of FINSAD Group visited enterprises specializing in production of wear parts with high content of manganese.
One of the main purposes of the trip was the annual visit to the company MM Castings. The company MM Castings has been producing and supplying wear parts for crushing equipment all over the world. In 2011 the company has produced 4.5 mln.kg of cast parts with high content of Manganese. In 2012 the company MM Castings plans to increase production capacities up to 6 mln. kg of finished products. Annual production increase is connected with high demand for quality products manufactured by MM Castings.
The company MM Castings manufactures wear parts with high content of Manganese with weight of 150 – 10500 kg.

Representatives of FINSAD Group visited all foundries of MM Castings. They managed to get acquainted with manufacturing process and technologies that facilitate production of quality products.

100% Manganese. The company MM Castings uses in casting production manganese mined in the South Africa, which is considered to be the best in the world. Addition of manganese in alloys at wear parts manufacturing increases their wear resistance.
Mr. Sanjay Mittal is demonstrating to Mr. Dimitri Solovjev the new Italian molding equipment and telling about the process of molds manufacturing with use of high quality small fraction sand. Small fraction sand allows producing an ideally smooth surface at the stage of casting.
